The most valuable coin in the Euro currency, and also the largest and heaviest. The two euro coin weighs in at 8.5 grams.

Converse to the 1 Euro, it has an outside disc of silver colored Cupronickel, while the inner section is golden.

The coin edge differs between nations, but most have fine ribs and lettering.
